MDCAT
Medical and Dental College Admission Test · Conducted by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC)
The national entry test for medical and dental colleges. Registration and results run through PM&DC's portal.
MasterMox does not conduct these tests and is not affiliated with the organisations that do. This page explains them in simple words and links to the official sources. Dates, fees and weights change, so always confirm on the official site.
Test pattern
- PM&DC's 2026 notice describes an English-language test of 180 MCQs with no negative marking.
- Split: Biology 81, Chemistry 45, Physics 36, English 9, Logical Reasoning 9.
- PM&DC's 2025 curriculum document says the test runs 3 hours, with about 15% easy, 70% moderate and 15% difficult questions.
- A May 2026 notice says the MDCAT 2025 curriculum applies to MDCAT 2026.
How merit works
- Medical college merit combines your earlier results with your MDCAT score. Read the current PM&DC admission regulations for the exact weights.
