HEC Need Based Scholarship
By Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan
Fee and stipend support for financially constrained undergraduate students at participating public-sector universities.
MasterMox does not offer or award any scholarship and is not affiliated with these providers. We only explain them in simple words. Always apply on the official website and never pay anyone to apply for you.
Who can apply
- Financially constrained undergraduate students enrolled at a participating public-sector university or degree awarding institute.
- Students already enrolled can apply, for example in their third semester.
- Not eligible: self-finance admissions, students at affiliated colleges, students already getting a scholarship or financial aid from their university, and students at foreign or non-listed universities.
What it covers
- Tuition fee
- A stipend
- Support starts from the date the scholarship is awarded, not from your enrolment date. It cannot be moved to another university.
How to apply
- You apply through your university, not directly to HEC.
- Get the financial aid form from your university's Financial Aid or Administration office, or download it from HEC's Downloads page.
- Attach supporting documents such as a salary slip, utility bills and a parent or guardian's CNIC, then submit to the same office.
- Your university announces its own start and end dates. Once selected you do not need to reapply each year.
Dates and amounts
Universities, not HEC, announce the application dates. Watch your own university's notice board. Stipend amount and income limit are on HEC's eligibility page and can change.
